A Simple Trick for Finding Out Who Unfollowed You on Facebook

A Simple Trick for Finding Out Who Unfollowed You on Facebook

updated 5/26/2021

Many Facebook users have many followers or friends, and over time some choose to unfriend us. That's just the way it goes. For those who only have only a few hundred friends, losing someone should be easy enough to spot without putting much thought into it. For those whose friends number in the thousands then you should right away add this google extension to your browser and let this clever little extension work its magic.

You must be logged into Facebook and then add who deleted me extension to your browser > Who Deleted Me

After you open this extension, just sit back and watch. This little program will automatically scan your Friends list and will prepare a list of the so-called Friends that have unfriended you. It will also show you the date they were last friends with you. From here, it will recheck your list whenever you click on the app and let you know if there have been any changes. At the top when you relaunch the app it will state your name and tell you whether or not you have new friends and also friends you have lost. Below will be a button that reads Lets Go See Who. From here you can also delete them or you can click the trash can and forget them.

Up towards the right, click the button that reads Current Friends, then scroll down to the bottom of the page. Since Facebook no longer shows you the number of friends that you have, it's easy to see from here. Each page shows you a list of 10 persons, so in your head, you can quickly figure your friend count by multiplying 10x the number of pages.

So, at long last, there is a quick way of finding out who unfriended you and when.

This is by far my most popular post with over 30,000 views and is from its original form a complete re-write

  2. It would be very easy to write a bit of script to figure it out. There have been "who unfriended me" apps around for ages.
Script periodically looks up the name of all likes. Script then looks up later, and looks for differences.

    No rocket science.

  3. It s pretty easy to find out by comparing the names of past with current likers using a spreadsheet. Why don t they develo an app then like they have done with the unfriend app which lets you know who has infriended you?

  4. As much as I'd like to know who've 'unliked' my page, giving it any effort would be folly. It's more than likely that I don't even know the person, so best not to take it personally. If it is someone you know and you continue to treat them as if nothing's wrong, it will probably drive them crazy and they'll eventually find a way to make you know. Spend energy building Likes, not chasing minutia down a rabbit hole.

  5. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is an emerging technology which allows you to make free phonecalls over the Internet - many times for free. It is already starting to replace existing telephone networks, with many people and businesses choosing to cancel their traditional phone line and use VoIP instead. Why? Price. Consumer are finding that they can save a lot of money using VoIP technologies.
