Stairway to Heaven (Remastered) Neil Sedaka 1960

A song and a phrase that you probably thought belonged to a Supergroup of the 70's that was named after a falling airship.

Curiously there's also a romantic fantasy movie with the same name set during WWII. You should check that out as well. In the meantime check out for yourself the first and original song called Stairway To Heaven by Neil Sedaka.

Neil Sedaka
"Stairway To Heaven"

Climb up
Way up high
Climb up
Way up high
Climb up
Way up high

Well-a, well-a, well-a, heavenly angel
I want you for my girl
When I kissed your sweet, sweet lips
I knew that you were out of this world

I'll build a stairway to heaven
I'll climb to the highest star
I'll build a stairway to heaven
Cause heaven is where you are

Well-a, well-a, well-a, over the rainbow
That's where I'm gonna climb
Way up high where the bluebirds fly
I'm gonna love you all of the time

I'll build a stairway to heaven
I'll climb to the highest star
I'll build a stairway to heaven
Cause heaven is where you are

I'll build a stairway to heaven
I'll climb to the highest star
I'll build a stairway to heaven
Cause heaven is where you are

Well-a, well-a, well-a, I gotta be going
Gonna leave the world behind
Every day in a heavenly way
You're gonna drive me outta my mind

I'll build a stairway to heaven
I'll climb to the highest star
I'll build a stairway to heaven
Cause heaven is where you are

I'll build a stairway to heaven
Cause heaven is where you are

Climb up
Way up high
Climb up
Way up high
Climb up
Way up high
Climb up
Way up high

Yellow Creek Falls, Ohio

Yellow Creek Falls

Yellow Creek Falls is the unofficial name of this scenic waterfall, and that is because it is on private property. Yellow Creek is a tributary of the Cuyahoga River and flows through both O’Neil Woods Metro Park and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Yellow Creek Falls is a two-tiered waterfall with each one of its tiers being about 100 yards apart. The upper tier is more of a cascade while the lower tier is a single-drop waterfall. The lower falls flow downstream and are only about 30 feet away from passing under the Yellow Creek Rd.

To get to this waterfall is very easy. Just put Yellow Creek Falls, Ohio into your search and it pops up with an address and directions. On the opposite side of the road is a closed-off driveway, but there’s enough space to pull in and park. Across the street and to the right side you’ll find a narrow and very short path that will lead you to this fantastic waterfall.

It’s well worth the time and effort to get there, but as it is on private property I would not stay long. Get there, get your photos & video, and get out quick!

It is listed in the World Waterfall Database > Yellow Creek Falls

It’s an amazing waterfall that’s only a few minutes away from where I live, so I just had to post this with some pics and video. Hope you like.

Kirby's Mill Lake Jinelle

Kirby's Mill Lake Jinelle

One of Ohio's Hidden Treasure's is now owned by the Richfield Heritage Preserve

What was once Camp Crowell Hilaka, a vast 336 acres of winding streams, lakes, forests, and waterfalls has only recently been made available for all public access.

Prior to being purchased by the Richfield Heritage Preserve, this had been closed off from the public for over 75 years.

It was once farmed by the pioneer Oviatt family and then became the estate of inventor Jim Kirby. During the 1920s Kirby constructed a patented lake, a mill to generate electric power, a house air-conditioned with spring water, and a dance hall built on springs. Upstream, the Neal family built their fairy tale houses and operated a thriving fruit farm. The land was purchased by the Cleveland Girl Scouts in 1937 and enclosed for the protection of the girls.

In 2015, the property was purchased by the citizens of Richfield. It has been transformed into a park for public enjoyment.

Richfield Heritage Preserve is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Crowell Hilaka Historic District.

"The famous inventor Jim Kirby is was an American inventor and self-taught electrical engineer who focused his career on "eliminating the drudgery of housework". He is known mostly for inventing the Kirby vacuum cleaner and the wringerless washing machine"  -  from Wikipedia

New Song from Zella Day - Dance For Love (Official Audio)

Hooray, a new song  -  from Zella Day is on!
Check it out now!

Lyrics:

I went out walking
Humming a song for my baby
He’s on my mind
I’m passing the time while he’s far away
He doesn’t know it
It’s how I show him I care
Moving my body throwing my hands in the air

I looked around to make sure nobody saw me crying
Cuz if he were here right now
He would look at me and he would say say say

I just want to dance for love
Celebrate it just because
I just want to dance for love
Celebrate it just because I can

I remember last summer
I spent it crying most of the time
Now he’s lifting the fog
The stage lights come on I’m the star of the show
He doesn't know it
It’s how I show him I care
Moving my body throwing my hands in the air

I went for a walk down Franklin avenue
I knocked on a door it used to be his door
But that don’t matter no more
Because I’ve got everything I need right here

I just want to dance for love
Celebrate it just because I got you
I just want to dance for love
Celebrate it just because I can

You make me wanna
You make me wanna
You make me wanna

I just want to dance for love
Celebrate it just because I got you
I just want to dance for love
Celebrate it just because I can
