Yellow Creek Falls
Yellow Creek Falls is the unofficial name of this scenic waterfall, and that is because it is on private property. Yellow Creek is a tributary of the Cuyahoga River and flows through both O’Neil Woods Metro Park and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Yellow Creek Falls is a two-tiered waterfall with each one of its tiers being about 100 yards apart. The upper tier is more of a cascade while the lower tier is a single-drop waterfall. The lower falls flow downstream and are only about 30 feet away from passing under the Yellow Creek Rd.
To get to this waterfall is very easy. Just put Yellow Creek Falls, Ohio into your search and it pops up with an address and directions. On the opposite side of the road is a closed-off driveway, but there’s enough space to pull in and park. Across the street and to the right side you’ll find a narrow and very short path that will lead you to this fantastic waterfall.
It’s well worth the time and effort to get there, but as it is on private property I would not stay long. Get there, get your photos & video, and get out quick!
It is listed in the World Waterfall Database > Yellow Creek Falls
It’s an amazing waterfall that’s only a few minutes away from where I live, so I just had to post this with some pics and video. Hope you like.
