Lana Del Rey - New Songs Out Now w/Bonus

Lana Del Rey's "The Endless Summer Tour" Began May 7th and ran till June 16th. Her first seven shows were supported with Courtney Love, afterward a few shows had no supporting act, while another ten shows featured Synth-Pop singer and producer Grimes. In all there were 20 shows in what was billed as The Endless Summer Tour.

Some of the die-hard fans that were at those shows, saw her perform the following songs in her set list. There may have been a few shows with slightly different set lists, but this list was the most common of her shows.

"Cruel World" "Cola" "Blue Jeans" "West Coast" "Honeymoon" "Us Against the World" "Born to Die" "Ultraviolence" "Summertime Sadness" "Chelsea Hotel No. 2" "Ride" "Brooklyn Baby" "Shades of Cool" "Serial Killer" "Video Games" "Florida Kilos" "Off to the Races"

Closing out the tour she announced to her fans the news of her new album Honeymoon and said it would arrive in September.

Since the closing of her tour, she's been interviewed and written about many times. LDR has also released snippets, teasers and singles from the new album. The efforts have amped-up the hype and anticipation, all the while staying the talk of the town till launch day. It's typical of your, modern times marketing. She's managed to keep everyone curious, and interested for an extended period of time with this approach, and now she's done it again.

As of 3 PM today, anyone can listen to Honeymoon a full week before its official release date. Urban Outfitters and Lana Del Rey will have listening parties in every Urban Outfitters location at 3 PM. Hurry on over before its too late.

The album will be played in its entirety in all of the US locations. Fans that pre-order “Honeymoon” will be given free Lana Del Rey lithograph's, created by Lana herself. Everyone who attends will also get to see “exclusive” album artwork that will thematically go along with each song.

So, if you just can't wait another week before Honeymoon is officially released, you may want to stop by your local Urban Outfitters to be a part of this listening party event.

Honeymoon Track List:

1. Honeymoon 5:50
2. Music to Watch Boys To 4:50
3. Terrence Loves You 4:50
4. God Knows I Tried 4:40
5. High by the Beach 4:17
6. Freak 4:55
7. Art Deco 4:55

9. Religion 5:23
10. Salvatore 4:41
11. The Blackest Day 6:05
12. 24 4:55
13. Swan Song 5:23
14. Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood 3:01

Playing Time: 65:06

Here's a little bit of what Lana had to say about her forthcoming album...

"It's very different from the last one and similar to the first two, Born to Die” and “Paradise," alluding to Honeymoon. I finished “Ultraviolence” in March
and released it in June and I had a follow-up idea. It's growing into something I really like. I'm kind of enjoying sinking into this more Noirish feel for this one. It's been good."

She also stated...

I'm doing a cover of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood." After doing a cover of Jessie Mae Robinson's "The Other Woman." I like summarizing the record with a jazz song. I'm having fun with my interpretation. "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" and "The Other Woman" are my favorites. I'm so so much a fan.

The album closes with a cover of Nina Simone's 1964 single "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood."

It's classic LDR, dreamy, slow, trippy, hazy and darkly romantic.

BONUS:
This song may end up on Deluxe Versions of Honeymoon.

McDonald’s - All Day Every Day Breakfast is Here!

Mark your calendars, set your countdown app, post notes everywhere. Do whatever it is that you've gotta do to remind yourself of an upcoming event of monumental importance.

Because, as of Oct. 6th, McDonald’s will now be serving breakfast all day!

That's right, you will no longer have to hurry before they stop selling the breakfast menu!

McDonald’s announced today that it will begin serving breakfast all day – nationwide.

This announcement comes after a trial run in a few select locations and concluded with a vote by Franchisees last week. McDonald’s will also, implement new safety measures that will aid in the transition.

Mike Andres - President of McDonald’s America Division says that extending breakfast hours is the company’s biggest move since adding the McCafe line of beverages in 2009.

This is the consumers’ idea. This is what they want us to do.”
That’s why I think this could be the catalyst for our turnaround.”
Mike Andres - President of McDonald’s America Division

Customer's have asked for years to get extended hours of their breakfast menu. The problem has always been about space until McDonald’s set about a task force to come up with a way to solve this problem.

All McDonald’s restaurants are built to produce lunch and dinner items that use the same equipment that makes the breakfast items, just not at the same time. So, it has always been a problem of space, until now.

This problem of space has required all Franchisee's to add or change to their current equipment and process set-up. In the process of their test they've developed a smaller rolling cart model which will also carry utensils used just for eggs. These cooking carts can be moved around for a better fit in each of the different McDonald’s kitchens. The restaurant's also needed new toasters. Existing toaster units can only be adjusted to warm hamburger buns or muffins. To accommodate theses changes, most restaurants are now getting the extra toaster ovens, and now these restaurants will be able to do breakfast muffins with one, and use the other oven for burger buns.

Individual restaurant upgrade costs may range from $500 to $5,000 per restaurant, depending on what equipment the franchisee's may already have. Many have already installed their new equipment, and are just counting down the days till... all day-every day breakfast is here!

Extra - To simplify the all-day breakfast roll-out McDonald’s will be offering a limited number of core items, including their sausage burritos, hot cakes and, depending on the region, Egg McMuffins or biscuit sandwiches.

The changes coming should also help the company's bottom line, as there has been healthy sales increases in all of the 200 restaurants that have been testing the new all day breakfast.

Update: Many Restaurants have already Rolled-Out the NEW All Day Breakfast ahead of the Oct. 6th Nationwide Launch.

See Google's New Logo!

See the New Google Logo
It's hard to believe but we've been Googling this, that and the other for 17 years. Along the way, Google has evolved and changed, always improving. Through those years there have been several logo changes and you can see them here in the video provided below.

If you were wondering, why change the logo now???
The answer is simple. They’ve taken the Google logo that was originally built for a single desktop browser page, and improved it for a more appealing, and seamless computing experience with any, and all devices.

Google says, we want to look good on all devices.

This isn’t the first time we’ve changed our look and it probably won’t be the last, but we think today’s update is a great reflection of all the ways Google works for you across Search, Maps, Gmail, Chrome and many others. We think we’ve taken the best of Google (simple, uncluttered, colorful, friendly), and recast it not just for the Google of today, but for the Google of the future.
You’ll see the new design roll out across our products soon. Hope you enjoy it!”
Tamar Yehoshua, VP Product Management - Bobby Nath, Director of User Experience

I like it, but what do you think?

NFL News - Final Cut to 53 - 09-05-2015

Saturday Sept. 5th is upon us and the following teams have made these moves. All teams have now reduced their rosters to 53 players as of 4:00 PM today.

Some trades have taken place, and some players may end up on different lists to protect them from exposure to the waiver wire. It's just player/roster maneuvering that typically takes place.

For Fantasy Football Owners, most of the players listed in this post are not your prime choices. These players could only be of value if your own team suffers injuries and or if one of your other players is on a bye week.

This appears to be a year where many teams are making transitions and that means many unknown players will probably emerge as stars.
