The Senate has finally, and unanimously passed an historic $2 trillion emergency relief stimulus package that will provide some economic relief for Americans, and businesses.
The new legislation is called the CARES Act > the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.
This aid package will make direct payments to Americans, an expansion of unemployment insurance and billions in aid to large and small businesses.
The stimulus package includes a one-time payment of $1,200 per adult ($2,400 for married couples) plus $500 per child under the age of 17. The payments will be lowered for individuals making more than $75,000 dropping by $5 for every $100 over the limit. There will also be a $500 per child payment.
This aid package also includes: $500 billion to allow the Fed to back $4 trillion in loans and stave off a debt crisis.
$367 billion for small-business loans.
$150 billion for state and local aid.
$130 billion for hospitals.
Broader eligibility for unemployment benefits and $600 more in payments.
$3.8 billion for the MTA.
The amount you receive will be based on income reported on 2019 tax returns or 2018 if the most recent version hasn’t been filed.
The Treasury Department said it would like to start sending the checks the week of April 6th with more going out by May 18th.
Individuals making more than $99,000 and couples making more than $198,000 won’t qualify.
This is what has been reported to date. For the time being we’ll just have to wait and see how this actually plays out.
I believe that further along, in the months to come there may be yet another stimulus package needed to help in the recovery of this disastrous pandemic.
Below is the full Cares Act for you to either read or download, and to share with others.
The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) recently released a list of disinfectant products approved for use against the Coronavirus on surfaces. They include several products from big brand names like Clorox and Lysol. Some of these products include toilet cleaner with bleach, disinfecting spray, along with other multi-surface cleaners and disinfectant sprays.
According to the EPA all of the companies with approved EPA registration numbers had to prove that their products are effective against viruses. They also said that any products without an EPA registration number have not yet been reviewed by their agency.
They also recommend that consumers pay close attention to the directions for use of these products, especially how long a disinfectant needs to stay on a surface to be effective.
List N includes products that meet EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes the disease COVID-19.
*You can check through the above link to see if any new products have been added to the list. Through this site you can also download the list to pdf if you like to share it through your email contacts or would simply prefer to view it offline.
Be aware when buying your products, to make sure it has an EPA registration number. If it does and it is on this list, these can be used against SARS-CoV-2. You can find this number on the product label just look for the EPA Reg. No. These products may also be sold under different brand names, but if they have the same EPA registration number, they are the same.
Be sure you are buying the right products, and the ones on the above list are the best to date.
Yeezy is Sleazy The following video from YouTube covers a lot more than was mentioned, but nowhere does Taylor Swift actually give Kanye permission, she only stated that she needed to think about it more. He omits the fact that he is also going to call her a bitch in his rap song, something that she was not aware of. The fact that the call was video taped almost seems like she was being set up, but that has totally backfired as you can tell by the uproar going on twitter right now with these hashtags #KanyeWestIsOverParty#TaylorToldTheTruth
Here is a transcript of a portion of the newly leaked phone conversation between Taylor Swift and Kanye West. * This is only a portion of a much longer conversation that can be heard here...
Kanye:So my next single, I wanted you to tweet it … so that’s why I’m calling you. I wanted you to put the song out.
Taylor: What would people … I guess it would just be, people would be like, “Why is this happening?” And I had something to do with it, probably.
Kanye: The reason why it would happen is because it has a very controversial line at the beginning of the song about you.
Taylor: What does it say?
Kanye: It says, and the song is so, so dope, and I literally sat with my wife, with my whole manager team, with everything, and try to rework this line. I’ve thought about this line for eight months, I’ve had this line and tried to rework it every which way, and the original way that I thought about it is the best way, but it’s the most controversial, so it’s gonna go Eminem a little bit, so can you brace yourself for a second?
Taylor: Yeah…
Kanye: Okay, alright. It says—wait a second, you sound sad.
Taylor: Well, is it gonna be mean?
Kanye: No, I don’t think it’s mean.
Taylor: Okay, then let me hear it.
Kanye: Okay, um … and the funny thing is when I first played it and my wife heard it, she was like “Huh? What? That’s too crazy, blah, blah, blah.” And when Ninja from Die Antwoord heard it, he was like, “Oh God, this is the craziest shit! This is why I love Kanye,” that kind of thing. It’s like my wife’s favorite fucking line. I just wanted to give you some premise of that, right?
Taylor: Okay.
Kanye: So it says, “To all my Southside n-word that know me best/ I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me sex.”
Taylor: That’s not mean.
Kanye: Okay. Yeah, well, this is the thing why I’m calling you because you got an army. You own a country of motherfucking two billion people, basically, that if you felt that it’s funny and cool and like hip hop and felt like, you know, just The College Dropout and the artist like, ‘Ye that you love, then I think that people would be like way into it, and that’s why I think it’s super genius to have you be the one that says, ‘Oh, I like this song a lot, like, yeah, whatever. This is cool. Whatever, it’s like, I got like s— on my album where I’m like, “I bet me and Ray J will be friends if we ain’t love the same bitch.”
Taylor: Oh my. I mean, I need to think about it because you hear something for the first time, you need to think about it because it is absolutely crazy. I’m glad it’s not mean though. It doesn’t feel mean, but like, oh my God, the build-up you gave it. I thought it was gonna be like that stupid dumb bitch, like, but it’s not. Um, so I don’t know. I mean, the launch thing, I think it would be kind of confusing to people, but I definitely like, I definitely think that when I’m asked about, of course I’m gonna be like, “Yeah, I’m his biggest fan. I love that. I think it’s hilarious,” but um, I’ll think about it.
Kanye: Yeah, you don’t have to do—you don’t have to do the launch and retweet. That’s just an extra idea that I had, like, but if you think that that’s cool, then that’s cool. If not, we are launching the shit like on just GOOD Fridays, on Soundcloud, the site, shit like that.
Taylor: You know, the thing about me is like, anything that I do becomes a feminine think-piece, and if I launch it, they’re gonna be like, “Wow,” like this thing—like they’ll just turn it into something that … I think if I launch it, it honestly like, it’ll be less cool ‘cause I think if I launch it, it adds this level of criticism, ‘cause having that many followers and having that many eyeballs on me right now, people are just looking for me to do something dumb or stupid or lame, and it’s like almost … I don’t know, like I kind of feel like people would try to make it negative if it came from me. Do you know what I mean?
Kanye: Yeah.
Taylor: I try to be super self-aware about where I am, and I feel like, I feel like right now I’m like this close to overexposure.
Kanye: Well, this one, I think this is a really cool thing to have.
Taylor: I know, it’s like a compliment.
Kanye: I had this line where I said—and my wife really didn’t like this one because we tried to make it nicer. So I said, “To all my Southside n-word that know me best/ I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex,” and my wife was really not with that one. She was way more into “She owes you sex,” but then the owe part was the feminist group-type shit that I was like, “Ahhh.”
Taylor: That’s the part that I’m kind of shit I mean, they’re both really edgy, but that’s the only thing about that line is that it’s like gonna …the feminists are gonna come out, but I mean, you don’t have to give a fuck, so…
Kanye: Yeah, basically. Well, what I give a fuck about is just you as a person and as a friend. I want things...
Taylor: That’s sweet
Kanye: ...that make you feel good. I don’t wanna do rap that makes people feel bad, like of course like I’m mad at Nike, so people think like, “Oh, he’s a bully. He ran on stage with Taylor. He’s bullying Nike now, this $50 billion company.”
Taylor: Why are people saying you’re bullying Nike?
Kanye: Because on “Facts” I said like, “Yeezy, Nike out here bad, they can’t give s— away.”
Taylor: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, that’s just what you do though...
I mean, I wouldn’t say that it’s like possible to bully a company like Nike where I mean, um, yeah, I mean
What's evident here is that Taylor was clearly taken advantage of from a very dishonest sleazy Jeezy Kanye West.

Breaking News: Record Store Day 2020 has been postponed yet again, and will no longer be held on one day but on three separate dates as a result of the coronavirus crisis. Instead, the titles on the RSD 2020 official list will be available from independent record shops on August 29, September 26 and October 24. Record Store Day 2020 may be delayed, but so far it has not been cancelled. The full list of releases have been announced and can be seen here in this post. Some highlights include a 50th anniversary repressing of Paul McCartney’s solo album McCartney, although I doubt that it will include Sir Paul’s whiny Beatles breakup letter.
There will also be some David Bowie, Cheap Trick and a double live Alice Cooper from shows back in 1982. For others there will be Doors, an Alternate Rumors from Fleetwood Mac, some Grateful Dead, and many many more.
There's certainly something for everyone on this blessed event...did I forget to mention releases from Melanie, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Yardbirds, Jimi Hendrix, Ellie Goulding, and even a double bootleg set from Humble Pie. It’s like Christmas in April. Here’s hoping you’ll score a few rare gems that will help get you through these troubled times.
Go to the Record Store Day Website to find nearby participating stores near you, also from their Home page you can view the full list exactly as I have posted or you can download your own PDF copy to further review for other special releases.
