These Products Kill Coronavirus

The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) recently released a list of disinfectant products approved for use against the Coronavirus on surfaces. They include several products from big brand names like Clorox and Lysol. Some of these products include toilet cleaner with bleach, disinfecting spray, along with other multi-surface cleaners and disinfectant sprays.

According to the EPA all of the companies with approved EPA registration numbers had to prove that their products are effective against viruses. They also said that any products without an EPA registration number have not yet been reviewed by their agency.

They also recommend that consumers pay close attention to the directions for use of these  products, especially how long a disinfectant needs to stay on a surface to be effective.

List N includes products that meet EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes the disease COVID-19.
